Gigabyte’s 200-Series Range – Sizeable (In a Good Way)

Written by James Schell and John Morrison. Streaking into first place with the most SFF boards on offer at launch, Gigabyte brings it’s breadth of options to the market. With so many options, surely there’s one here for everyone? Maybe? [mks_separator style=”blank” height=”2″] Mini-ITX GA-Z270N-WIFI While Kaby Lake is fairly disappointing as far as CPU performance improvements is concerned, I’m very appreciative that the new generation of boards that are launching with it are trending towards a more subdued, monochrome color scheme compared to the often gaudy designs of previous gens. NFC Systems S4 Mini Review

The Mini-ITX case market has seen significant growth in the last few years, from small upstarts and titans of industry alike. However, finding the proper balance between features and size still seems to be a tough nut for most case manufactures to crack.  It is with this backdrop that we see NFC Systems step in, with the S4 Mini.  A case that seems – on paper, at least – like it could be one of the best small form factor mITX solutions on the market today. GIGABYTE B150N Phoenix Pictured

The first pictures of Gigabyte’s upcoming B150N Phoenix M-ITX board have appeared, courtesy of EXPreview.com. The board is for socket 1151 processors. Positioned between its mainline 100-series N products, such as the H170N-WiFi and its more premium Z170-based ones; this distinctive board features an orange+black color scheme which I think is awesome! Its PCB appears to be a slight change on that of the H170N-WiFi. The B150N features 5-phase VRM for the CPU, two DDR4 DIMM slots, and a PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slot. An mPCIe 3.0 x1 slot is wired to the PCH, driving the board’s included WLAN+Bluetooth card. Connectivity includes USB …
