Minisforum has begun taking pre-orders on their upcoming EliteMini X500-5700G. As it says in the name, the EliteMini X500 is powered by the Ryzen 5700G. This APU features 8 cores and 16 threads paired with Vega 8 graphics. The unit starts at $859 for the early pre-order discount, and includes 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD.
An interesting note about the unit is that it uses and axial style down draft cooler as opposed to the blower style laptop units that are typical in these style devices. The top panel is a mesh material to assist in airflow.
The system measures 154×153×62 mm, and can be VESA mounted.
