I9-13900KS Review Round-Up

The reviews are out for the $700 Intel I9-13900KS. It’s basically a binned 13900K with a turbo clock up to 6GHz, and Intel’s response to AMD’s 3D V-CACHE chips. It’s fast but can burn 320 watts of very SFF unfriendly power. More reviews will be added as they are posted.

Der8aur did a delidding video on it today, dropped temps by 11C. Still gonna run like a blow torch in most SFF cases, but that's impressive!

Oof.... Delidding used yield far better results. Imagine that you could also drop a few C with his mounting mechanism. Regardless, these things are fireballs. I've got a 13900K on our test bench now and even with a 420mm AIO it gets hot.
