GIGABYTE introduces GA-AB350N-Gaming WIFI AM4 ITX motherboard

Ryzen small form factor fans rejoice, GIGABYTE introduced the GA-AB350N-Gaming WIFI Mini-ITX AM4 motherboard at Computex!

Joining the shortlist that includes the BIOSTAR X370GTN and the upcoming ASRock X370 Gaming-ITX/ac (as well as an AB350 Gaming-ITX/ac variant), the GA-AB350N-Gaming WIFI looks to offer premium features likely slotted between the competition in price. Outside of it being one the elusive Ryzen Mini-ITX motherboards, it’s also one of the very first B350 board across the entire range to include the Realtek ALC1220 codec (vs. ALC892), something that audiophiles will surely appreciate.

And here are the other specs.

Eagle-eyed viewers might not be a big fan of the centrally placed 8-pin, or the top-and-center sata ports, or the 24-pin, or the USB header, or the fan headers near the PCIe sl…. wait, hold up. Wow! The layout of this motherboard is somewhat lackluster and as a result this may not work well in all ITX cases. Be sure to plan your cable routing well in advance as this board could present a real challenge.

On the bottom of the front edge is the LEDs for that underglow effect.

At time of writing no official price or release date has been announced but an email response from Gigabyte showed that July is the planned release date for the GA-AB350N ITX.

And James was told by a rep at GIGABYTE’s suite at Computex that we were looking at end of June, which lines up with the above. Still no word on price though.
