ETA Prime, not seen because I’m tired of just showing pictures of his hand, has taken the Minisforum EM680 micro PC to make a Chimera OS powered Steam machine. The Minisforum EM680 features a Ryzen 7 6800U with 8 Cores / 16 threads, and a 12Cu RDNA 2 Radeon 680m iGPU at 2,200MHz. That puts its performance well ahead of the SteamDeck, and will run up to 35 watts. 16GB of soldiered DDR5-6400 is included with the unit.
ETA Prime takes a look at numerous games in this test, and found that older games like Left 4 Dead 2 were quite capable of running at 1080P in high settings mode. However, he discovered some issues with Doom Eternal, and most newer games like Cyberpunk were capable of playing at 720P low settings.
