ETA Prime has taken a look at the Miniforum AD650I. The board includes a mobile Intel i7-12650H CPU sporting 10 cores and 16 threads. Also included on the board are six M.2 drives and cooling fan.The board uses laptop style memory.
Notably, the board includes an MXM slot instead of a PCIe slot. Minisforum does not state that you can run MXM graphics modules in the slot, but does include a MXM to 3X M.2 adapter. Alternatively, you could use M.2 to PCIe risers, or the USB/Thunderbolt 4 port on the rear for a eGPU solution.
The board with CPU is currently priced at $359 directly from Minisforum.
