ETA PRIME has put the Minisforum UH125 PRO mini-pc through its paces. The stock ARC iGPU puts out about the same TimeSpy score as a GTX 1060 laptop GPU. This equates to Cyberpunk 2077 at 60FPS, at 720P, low settings, with XESS set to performance.  Not exactly great gaming performance. However, the iGPU does have dual decoders and encoders for fast Quicksync performance. Video editing should be pretty decent for more common codecs, and AV1 encode and decode are supported in hardware. For those that don’t know, AV1 can grind even a top of the line CPU to its knees.

Using the all-in-one R3GAF prototype eGPU, which has a 8GB Radeon 7600M XT GPU in it, boosts TimeSpy up to around 10,000 points. This is roughly the same as an RTX 4060. Cyberpunk was able to run at 86FPS at 1080P Ultra with FSR at Quality settings. That’s a fairly massive improvement from a rather small and portable eGPU.
