Small Form Factor Network user devotion-laptop has created one of the most unique concepts to grace our forums with their Thin-ITX motherboard based laptop design. The laptop uses a 17.3″ display and custom chassis to house a true thin-ITX motherboard. The current prototype specs are:

– Dimensions: 410 x 270 x 48 mm
– Weight: 4.4 kg (heavy!)
– DGPU support: (none)
– Battery capacity: 43 Wh
– Cooling: HTS1155LP with PWM fan; passive venting elsewhere
– Display: 17.3″ LVDS
– Construction: mainly handworked 2 mm aluminium (AW 1050). Display chassis is CNC milled AW 6082 T6
