What is the height from Motherboard plate to cpu top? (AM4 socket)

I was wondering what the heigt from the Motherboard plate to the top of the CPU is, to get the total system height.

As you can see in the Picture you can't just add up Standoff height, Mobo height and Heatsink height to get the total height needed in the case. So my Question is how much mm is X?

It's about 8mm on Intel and I believe similar on AMD.

Assuming it's identical to AM3 (which all things point to yes it is), the package is 4.12 to 4.86mm, and the socket is 4mm +/- .2

So you could have anything between 7.92mm to 9.06mm.

Well shit, looks like the Black Ridge will be sticking out of my case slightly. Hopefully I can lower my motherboard enough. Might have to slightly cut the aluminum extrusion with a dremel
