What is the generation of the wifi m.2 slot on asus z270i motherboard?

Is it ×1 pcie 1.0 or ×1 pcie 3.0 ?

I am thithink of replacing the wifi module with 10gbe nic and don't want to run into bandwidth limitation

I think it is PCIe 3.0 because Z270 chipset only has PCIe 3.0.
Just my guess.

The Card is a 2230 M.2 Card that uses PCIe x1...

The interface should be Gen. 2.0, because of the necessary speed and the only 3.0 lanes come from the Processor and the go straight to the x16 Slot (Sometimes 8x GPU/ x4 M.2 2280).
