Ventiva has demoed their new, production ready, Ionic cooling systems at Computex. The demo included several small form factor machines running nearly silently, and a compact laptop using AMD’s Strix Halo processor. The system leverages several small ionic cooling modules to move the air through heatsinks rather than fans to cool the near PS5 level of graphics performance. It goes without saying that small ionic cooling units could substantially help in the SFF world with everything from processor to VRM cooling.
