Hi everyone
I am yawacool from LI-HEAT
We are an OEM/ODM manufacturer of PCIE riser patented technology
We are designing a new miniaturization case

In order to pursue more efficient performance volume and heat dissipation
We included the computer screen (supporting VESA installation) as one of the items for assembling PC
Increase the fun of PC assembly
Combination of screen and computer case
Significantly reduce the occupied space
And has a good heat dissipation channel
Solved the heat dissipation problem of AIO PC
And have independent hardware selection and combination
So this product is named All-By-one

This prototype is still being designed
We are collecting more opinions to make All-By-one better
If you have any suggestions
Please leave a message to discuss with us

The All-By-one SFX computer case we published here,
We will try to produce it and sell it in wholesale and retail
It includes PCIe GEN3.1 riser cable that may support GEN4 and the hole position will be the same as 3M's products
This is a brand new product, many designs need to be corrected,
If you have different ideas about this product, or something you want to know, please let us know by leaving a message,

note:
The idea of All-By-one has filed patent applications in many countries

Feature of product
1.Combined with the computer screen, this is the best solution for computer miniaturization
2.The power supply is not in the computer case, this is the best solution to the heat dissipation problem
3.The I/O port of the motherboard faces the user,
Solve the problem of having to pay an expensive fee to solve the extended transfer problem of high-speed interfaces (such as Thunderbolt)

MINI-ITX motherboard and SFX power supply dedicated

Exclusive accessories:

PCIe GEN3.1 riser cable that GEN4 may support
(When the motherboard does not use the PCIe slot of SMT, there is no Retimers and the high frequency PCB is not used)

Note: Its fixing holes will be the same as 3M products.

CPU cooler specifications:
The total height including the down-blowing fan should be less than 45mm
The height of AIO Pump Unit Dimensions is preferably less than 49mm, and the total width is less than 70 mm

GPU specification limit: the length must be less than 27cm,
Such as: GeForce RTX™ 3090 TURBO 24G

If you use AORUS's cooling architecture (a super-saturated cooling architecture with one fan blowing downwards and the other fan blowing upwards)
Its heat dissipation effect should be better

Or such as: integrated water-cooled GPU

Update 1
About All-By-one computer case patent authorization
If you can make a better product design and want to obtain this patent authorization and manufacture and sell All-By-one computer cases
The simplest solution is to customize the PCIe GEN3.1 PCIE riser cable we produce

Update 3
All-By-one computer screen that supports VESA keyhole
One of the fun of All-By-one is that you can freely change the screen
The screen has also become one of the assembly options:)
(It is expected to support up to 32-inch screen)

Update 4
Supplementary notes about GPU:
Limited length design of GPU
The reason is that we believe that high-frequency and expensive PCB will make the length of the GPU generally less than 27cm

The screen is also one of the DIY assembly projects
Assemble the screen and case together
Achieve higher space efficiency
Such a new concept design
Everyone has better ideas
Or you want to see how the All-By-one case is designed
Welcome everyone to discuss

Just checking in! Any new updates?

I'm very interested in LiHeat's riser cables. It seems like very few manufactuers are able to produce a reliable PCIe Gen4 riser cable.
Here is a video exploring many of them.

I noticed in they didn't test any LiHeat riser cables! Do you have any plans to release a Gen4 compatible riser cable? What would make it more compatible? Better sheilding? Better materials? Am I reading it correctly that your new riser cable would NOT include a "retimer" or a "redriver" mentioned in the PCI Sig article you posted in the OP?

Hi @Runamok81
This is a very good question
Thank you also for the information
In fact, we have been preparing for GEN4 for a long time
Please help me confirm that you only have these three questions?
Q1 better coverage
Q2 Better materials
Q3 Will retimer" or a "redriver" be used

Yes, those are the questions! Thanks.
A1: PCIE riser cable supporting GEN4
Its shielding layer is preferably metal
Our PCIE riser cable originally used copper + nickel shielding material
(If you remove the black acetate tape you will see this masking layer, it is golden yellow)
(Compared with 3M's products, their shielding range is limited to the signal line, and we shield them all)
2021-01-01 18.13.49-2.jpg

A2: According to the technical information announced by the PCI-SIG Association
We know that in order to reduce signal loss
Low-loss PCB and SMT slots are an indispensable condition for motherboards and GPUs to upgrade to GEN4 (most motherboards are still using FR4 PCBs and slots that must be punched)

So we will support GEN4 PCIE riser cable
In the future, there will only be D.type using clip-on slots instead of A and B.type
Because of the A.type and B.type slots, they must be punched on the PCB
This will cause severe echo reflection

An obvious thing
The PCB we use must be a low-loss material
But one thing I'm sorry
We must keep other upgrade information

A3: According to the information announced by PCI-SIG
We know several things like this
1. Retimer has the function of reconstructing PCIE signal
But redriver can’t change what for PCIE signal
2. Adding a retimer to the slot end of the PCIE riser cable is the best solution to extend the transmission distance of PCIE signals
Unfortunately......
Compared with brand manufacturers, we may not be able to obtain fair technical resources and reasonable purchase prices
So we may not have the opportunity to become a supplier of PCIE riser cable using retimer

All questions about GEN4
Feel free to ask questions

In addition, we also hope you have your opinions and questions about the original design of All-By-one

Thanks for your compliment
If you can please tell me a design like this
Its price should be controlled within a range of how much money do?
