I have no idea about temps - this is my first nVidia card since a GTX680! I would assume based on the fan being inaudible that they are fine. It is a 165W card after all, so I have no doubt that even a short double slot cooler is ample.

It's got a bit more punch in rasterised games compared to my 6600XT but the main jump is in raytracing performance. I'm not a fan of RTX, I find it a bit gimmicky, but going from 10fps in Portal 2 RTX to 60fps is quite impressive, albeit with DLSS 3 frame gen which comes with a big dollop of input lag. Same with Quake 2 RTX - 15fps to a solid 60fps.

I'd recommend the card but please, please do not pay over what I paid for it, and even then it's a tough sell. The 4060Ti is really a £300 price point card.

Pretty much how I feel about my RTX4060LP, great card for low profile and low power. Kinda terrible value otherwise.

If the Gainward was in stock at Overclockers I might bite, but it's currently listed as a pre-order with an unknown delivery date... They do have the Palit 4060 TI in stock but at a £30 higher price. They seem like the same card except the Gainward has a slightly higher Boost Clock.

In Norway all Gainward pegasus cards are pre order, ranging form 5 to 11 days delivery time. Im guessing theres a storage somewhere in Europe

Are there any new SFF 4060 TIs coming soon? What about the 16GB version?

EDIT: What do people think about these:

The MSI is currently available on Amazon for £429.99. I don't see the Colorful available anywhere yet.

If your case can accommodate 200mm GPUs, definitely go for the MSI. For 170mm Gainward/Palit still seem the only viable option in Europe at least.

I personally think the 16GB card is a bit unnecessary. The scenarios where you need more than 8GB of RAM, the rest of the card is probably too weak as well and you need to turn down some settings anyway. Also the performance gain over the 4060 is so small that you might as well just go for the Zotac 4060 maybe?

The 4060 TI is 20% faster than the 4060 according to most benchmarks, but you're right that the extra 8GB RAM is unlikely to make huge difference with today's games. That said with the Palit/Gainward at £380, it's not a huge stretch to get to £430 for the 16GB MSI.

The Zotac 4060 Solo fan is quite loud apparently as well.

I'm of the opinion that the whole RTX4000 stack needs to move down a spot - 4090 at £1200, 4080 at £800, right down to the 4060 at £200.
where did you buy from? I'm struggling to find any online (they're not sold in aus) and it's about 500 pounds on ebay

I doubt if I ever buy single-fan gpu again after using coloful's 3060 mini.
I have metalfish s3 case and I've managed to install msi two-fan 4060ti, which is 4mm longer that the case can fit in stock: I had to cut metal backplate and shift fan-casing. Thou it had been working without backplate for about month while I was waiting for dremel to arrive.

I got mine from Overclockers UK but from having a look all the short models are on pre-order.
