Season's greetings

Hello, and stay indoors!

I've always dreamed of having a powerful (semi-)portable PC that I could take with me anywhere with little hassle. But that would only be the beginning of my dreams. I long for being able to walk around in a room with an AR headset on my head and work. Just like Minority Report, except I've never seen that movie.

To that end, I've started building a custom mechanical keyboard based on Mitosis, and, back in 2017, built the first iteration of Charon, my personal computer.

Now, three years later, I'm still at it. I got myself a Sentry 2.0 for Christmas and tried to transfer Charon into his new enclosure. Needless to say, he didn't fit. As it turns out, when your case gets smaller, there's a lot more constraints your components have to meet!

So that's why I'm here. To learn all about what I need to check before I buy anything for Charon.

Welcome. Don't forget your power supply - you'll need SFX for Sentry.

(I can't remember whether they support SFX-L)

Right! Don't worry, I just failed to mention it. It's a Corsair SF 450 and it's been serving me well for the past 2 years.
