Hi, well I've done my research for 2 weeks and the thing is that I already have a GTX 1080, 16GB are not enough for me, I've gone with 32GB (already purchased), I've also bought a more reliable 1TB SSD and I will go with a Corsair SF600 Platinum to have the more power margin for a future. But thanks anyway for the support! Why not use a config like this: https://geizhals.eu/?cat=WL-1168464
Depends on the workload but I don't think it'll work with the stock 92mm configuration for productivity.
9900K hits 94'C with the Black Ridge on Blender at 125W CPU Package Power* using the 2.5W/2500rpm NF-A9x14 fan.
*measured in HWInfo64, 4.5GHz effective speed @ 1.10v (-2 AVX offset and -30mV undervolt)
My understanding is that the 3900X pulls around 135W at full load, and the 7nm chiplet arrangement means it's harder to pull heat away from the actual CPU dies.
In the end I didnt, I went with the Silverstone LD03 and Aorus ATC800 coolerDid you ever throw it together and see if it worked for you?
