CPU Ryzen 3600 vs 3700x temperatures (65W parts)

From what I've read in the DAN thread you will have better temps with the 3600 than the 3700X.

If you already have the 3700X I think you should keep it unless temps are too high, you'd have to sell it and then buy a new 3600; it'd probably end up being like what a $50 difference? Or just wait for 4600? lol

True, but then what is too high for temps really? And anyone that knows when the 4600 might drop, isn't that like Q3 2020?...

Nobody has said that a 3700X is unusable in that case, you may have to compromise on hight temps and fan noise, or undervolt. I think I've read that Ryzen 3000 can go above 80C with no throttling.

There is no info on Ryzen 4000 so who knows.
