Hi, with my air-cooled A4-H2O (occasional flight so AIO not an option, wish other countries will follow TSA allowing AIO) producing quite some noise from the CPU fan intake, I thought why not take an attempt to make a re-design on the side-panel using the .stp provided by Lian Li.

Since noise and airflow is the main concern, this article is used as a design reference, the idea being making the panel cutout around the CPU taking the form of wire grill as it allows good airflow and low noise, while being relatively simple design.

However my other concern being the offered protection as well as aesthetic. With similar to fan grill design I'm not certain about how much protection the panel can offer to prevent outside obstacle, as well how can similar to fan grill design be made to be aesthetically pleasing.

I would like to know what you think about such design.

On a side note, since the plan is to 3D print the panel, I plan on adding a small extrusion similar to NR200's to make taking panel off easier.
