Just finished building a 7960x on a asrock x299 xe (bios 1.5) and in the bios I saw under ¨¨cpu voltage¨¨ that it was jumping between 1.7 and 1.800.I haven installed windows or anything at this point and I know nothing about overclocking, but if I'm not mistaking, those numbers are dangerous and I decided to shut down the pc until someone can verify if this is normal or not.
A nh-d15 is mounted on the cpu.

What you saw was probably the CPU Input Voltage, that is usually around 1.8V. Nothing to worry about.

Just to be on the safe side.

Apologies for the 3-4 mb photos.
It just scares me that it is in yellow and 1.792v

So, do you see anything strange or is it all good guys?

That is perfectly okay. Also trust me, if you had 1.8V CPU Core Voltage set, your Temperatures would NOT look like this. Plus, if the Board had misfunctioned and killed your CPU, i'm pretty sure AsRock would have to replace it for you.
