I work off shore and just need a Render box since i work 28 on 14 off. I have a computer. I am ready to buy parts but i am really unsure of what to buy as I have never done a build like this. i am offshore now and the internet is really bad but i have looked at some builds. still when i was looking people seem to be using a lot of different things. I am not over clocking but would like a brick less build. What are the best parts as of today to buy? Would it be all be plug and play or would i have to buy tools? Can I pay someone to build it for me? I don't need it to look cool i just need it to work.

sorry for the large text i copy/pasted MOD EDIT: Fixededed :)

As far as what the best parts on the market are right now that really depends on your specific needs. I would suggest you contact @Josh | NFC via his website http://nfc-systems.com/contact/ he does do custom builds and I'm sure he'd be able to help you through you build.

Thanks for the intro!

Howdy!

A good starting point would probably be to use the templates I have here:

http://nfc-systems.com/boms

You can see everything that goes into a MINI build, and choose the best one for you. Then you can substitute parts like RAM, M.2 SSD, and motherboards for your budget or preference.

You should use the 1050ti brickless BOM. Your GPU will work with that, I have done three of them for a customer and it looks like I will be doing four more this month.

Peace!

C8 connector
hd plex 160 ac to dc

Those are sold out. The dynamo 200 is grayed out and only shows a 360 now. i take it that part will work?

what other combos work?
any idea when these parts will be back in stock?
do i need to buy the on/off or will one come with my case? i only ask because i thought those were in the box now.

To answer your questions:
  • The Dynamo 360 will not power the system by itself. It can used alongside the Dynamo 200 to create higher powered build like you will be doing soon
  • A Meanwell EPP-400-12 + plus PDCB, HDPLEX 400 DC-DC + HDPLEX 400 AC-DC, or a HDPLEX 400 DC-DC + an external power brick
  • No idea on stock availability, sorry
  • You will need to buy a 16mm anti-vandal (bulgin?) switch for the case
I am working on a list that may suit you but others and myself would like to know what parts you can pull for your current machine and what you'll need and want. Also what is your budget for this build?

If you would be willing to go with the Fatal1ty B450, I have a brand new one I'd let go of for a good price.

(Mods, if that isn't kosher here, please delete this post.)
