So I was recently able to concoct something delightfully devilish :)

Yup, your eyes do not deceive you. I've managed to fit the new HDPLEX 400W AC-DC v2.0 in my S4M-C, so it's now a BRICKLESS, S4M-C! So, I'm down from 4.9L to possibly 4.3/4.2L.. I will remeasure and double check the case measurements once im done doing some wire cutting, heat shrinking, and wire cramming/tucking, and after i remove the "horizontal" feet i never used on the case. :)

Do yall need to to resubmit scores or just update my volume once i'm done re-measuring?

And with two 2.5" drives! :thumb:

Just realised that there's a "compute edition" score! So, in addition to post #119 above:

2574 - petricor - 3950X - RTX 2080ti - NFC Skyreach 4 Mini - ((9529*301.99)/(5^1.5))/100 - Post #122

thanks for updating me, and yes it is 4.2L on the S4M-C chassis size again. Here is the updated final build for posterity.

((2452*7863)/(4.2^1.5))/100 = 22399.318541491983

7700k + Zotac 1080 mini, BRICKLESS, inside of 4.2L with no serious side panel bowing or pushing or bending. :) I'll be keeping this build for quite some time now. It it will probably house my next upgrade down the line.
CPU actually performs better now that it's oriented vertically and can vent more easily out the top custom vent hole /skyslots vent plate.

I'll be posting an update on the process i went through in my build thread eventually.

Check my signature for full build log, detailed stats and photos. This is at "daily driver" voltage with limited wattage. Plenty of thermal overhead available.
Volume: 12.7 liters
Case: Ncase M1 V6.1 / 250 x 160 x 338mm

Round 3 PPL calc (if I did it right):
16,362.19

Travel rig entry, some room for improvement :)

TimeSpy GPU: 7837 (https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/48526751?)
R20 CPU: 2766
Case: Formula 2s (pics of build - https://smallformfactor.net/forum/threads/formula-2s-from-taobao.13556/)
Volume: 4.58L (220mm*114.5mm*182mm)

PPL = (( 7837*2766)/(4.58^1.5))/100 = 22115.8586
wow nice! that 2060 is SUPER close to my 1080 mini! and your Ryzen 5 beat my 7700k, dang nice build there! I took a look at your build thread (could you post a pic of that case here in your post above for the thread's posterity please?) and that case is very compact and impressive for being an inbetween setup between the Velka 3 and the Ghost.. and its from Taobao! Boy has chinese manufacturing and ingenuity surely become quite impressive (and affordable)! and you got a modded 1U PSU powering it, that is neat my friend, bravo! Did you include the feet in your volume measurement? the height they add to the case is taken into account as part of the external volume measurement figure.. if so, then boy is that thing tiny. How much volume is it without the feet, if i may ask?

@CubanLegend thank you. The quality is very impressive indeed. The 2060 mini I think is the sweet spot for price/performance for itx size cards. I wanted a 2070 mini but didn't buy one before they all disappeared. And the 1600 AF is similarly a superb value performance chip.

I took the measurements from the listed case specs. I'll double check if it includes the feet which are about 10mm in height and update my entry with a pic as well.

update - got shorter case feet:

I'd never think a gtx 1650 build would make it in the leaderboards. Thanks, @theGryphon , for bringing the hope.

If I ever upgrade to R5 3600 + GTX 1650 LP GDDR6, I'll be sure to measure my PPL. Brickless and unplugged. What a dream....

Hi @ghop

your case size does not match the ncase m1 website stated dimensions. For the calculations, I will be using the website dimensions with protrusions, unless you have modified it in some way?

Hi @hereforthefeast

sorry I didnt notice if you updated your score with the new case feet? It looks like you did with 5.5 mm feet, correct?

thanks

wow those RT cores on that 2080Ti are really something with Path tracing! here's my compute score and formula on my measly ZOTAC 1080 Mini:

"COMPUTE": 491 - Cuban Legend - i7-7700k - GTX 1080 - NFC Skyreach 4 Mini Classic brickless - ((2452*172.34)/(4.2^1.5))/100 - Post #134

only thing i noticed is my new compute score should go in my higher score, as it was done with my Brickless config not my old brick config, also how in the world did a 2060 score 9015 graphics! jeez wow
oh i see the mistake, hereforthefeast used a 2070, not a 2060 like the spreadsheet says lol

@Aux a few minor corrections for my entry: My case volume is 4.90L (226mm*116mm*187mm) and total volume with feet is 5.02L (231.5mm*116mm*187mm). GPU changed from 2060 to 2070. And finally, I'm not sure if it's worth being this specific but I am using the 1600 AF version.

I want to say each round usually goes for a couple dozen entries or so? @Aux , can we get a ruling...? ;^p
