Actually, I have no idea what I am doing so am trying to get some ideas and a general consensus on the few combinations that sound good to me.

White + White always makes everything look whited out.
UV + White gives it an unnatural purple-tinted glow.

Honestly, you will know what will look good once you have everything installed and give it a thoughtful glance. You want to make the system pop, but not over-saturated. The over-saturated / white-out effect only really looks good on a show room floor where the lighting is dim. When its sitting on a desk in a well lit room, it really looks off putting unless you have a shadow/black acrylic window to dissipate some of the light.
