Advice Oculink to M.2 NVME + Dell 7210 Not Detecting any GPU

New here, looking for suggestions

I'm trying to add Oculink to my Dell Latitude 7210, it's a convertible laptop running i7 10610u

I'm using Oculink to M.2 Nvme adapter bought at Alibaba, connected to Oculink Dock from the same seller, powered by EVGA 300w psu, I'm using a RX580


Fresh boot, the GPU is not detected and my laptop refused to boot (stuck at Dell logo)

I tried to boot it regularly without the GPU connected then insert the Oculink connector to the GPU when it's on Windows, then restart it

Booted normally to Windows this time, but the GPU is still not detected

The GPU itself power up whenever the laptop is powered up, it will run at max fan speed, still without any signal

Every time I shutdown the laptop, the GPU will be powered off too

But still, not detected at all

I've had the same problem. I've been trying to solve it but no luck so far.

i have similar issues with laptop known as dell lattidue 5310 2in1 with i5-10210u with 16gb ddr4 2667mhz ram
it does not work .. port reset error maybe could be the bios most likely but i cant say cause my test gpu was gt 610 not a morden grahics card

second opitions if you really wanted it so bad just buy thunbolt 4 egpu motherboard or something it would 100% work but its super expensive

third option get a laptop with oculink port directly use oculink wire and install the drivers and it will work

letting you know the fact oculink ports help with the fastest egpu gaming sometimes similar to desktop pc and sometimes consider facts such as cpu and gpu can ethier be bottleneck
