Thank you for your support for One Dock and myself.
We have received more than 110 orders outside China.
In order to ensure timely delivery, we have to stop the reservation now.
After this delivery, the next round of reservation will be opened immidiately.
Thanks again.

Hello, everyone.
Thank you very much for your support to One Dock. To express my gratitude, I prepared a small surprise, this gift was originally intended to be kept until the final announcement, the upcoming One Dock already fully supports 100W PD, all of the 2 ThunderBolt ports.
This was originally planned as a feature upgrade for the 2nd generation One Dock.

Both of the 2 ThunderBolt ports behind One Dock are all support up to 100W PD reversing power supply. And yes, even if the oculink cable is connected, the ThunderBolt ports can still be used for power supply.

Once again, the total power required for One Dock should be greater than TGP of your GPU card+PD power supply.

Examples:
A 220W GPU (3060ti/3070) and the PD charging power of your laptop/handheld is 100W, a 330W GaN adapter is recommended.

A 320W GPU (3080/4080) and do not need to give power supply to your laptop/handheld, a 330W adapter is recommended.

A 320W GPU and the PD charging power of your laptop/handheld is 100W, 450W adapter is recommended.

A 320W GPU and two ThunderBolt ports connecting two 100W PD devices (such as one laptop/handheld and one 100W power bank), an adapter above 550W is recommended. If you need to use it this way, please contact me. We have a recommended 660W DC7450 solution.

But, the limitation for GPU card is still 360W.
BTW, One Dock supports 5V 9V 15V 20V PD reversing power supply.

After complete testing, I think I can announce that we have resolved or greatly improved the compatibility issue of the AMD USB4 port with the Thunderbolt GPU dock.

Based on a large number of case studies, we believe that the root cause of the compatibility issue between AMD USB4 port and Thunderbolt eGPU docks is "AMD chips have very, very high requirements for signal integrity, which are excessively high". Therefore, many eGPU docks can be used normally on Intel platforms, but cannot be used on AMD platforms.

Even on the Thinkbook 6800U model, the OCulink/M.2 port cannot use PCIE 4.0 GPU cards.

So we have specifically strengthened the signal purity of the One Dock PCB and reduced various interferences. We replaced more expensive TypeC port components and redesigned the circuit to reduce crosstalk between the lines.

Due to the unpredictability of how much improvement this will bring, it was not announced until complete testing was done on the upcoming batch of One Dock PCBs that we were confident that One Dock would be better compatible with AMD USB4 ports compared to other eGPU docks.

My own WinMAX2 used to be unable to use Thunderbolt eGPU docks properly regardless of the length and price of Thunderbolt/USB4 cables used. But after these PCB upgrades, all Thunderbolt/USB4 cables in my hands can be successfully connected between One Dock/WM2 in the 1st plugging.
