I'm building an eGPU based on an Oculink connector.
Here are the parts I'm using:

1. Oculink - NVME + the GPU Board
2. PICO-BOX DC-ATX power supply

I haven't tried it yet since the products are still on the way from China.
What I want to ask is whether I can power a single slot card like the RX6400LP.
My laptop is a Dell 7210, which still uses PCIe 3.0.
Also, I want to use a Type-C to power the entire eGPU setup with a 230W GaN charger.
Besides the decoy USB to barrel jack, is there anything else I need?

Thanks!

sure, makes sense... just saying, because I previously tried with a "normal" GaN Charger but had some issues with this Type-C to 20V DC setup. the SlimQ worked much more reliable for me.

I was using a GTX 1650 in my setup and it would just crash on higher GPU loads, but since you are using a lower powered RX6400, maybe it works for you... good luck!

Take this with a grain of salt, but Powercolor page says that RX 6400 series can be powered from PCIe slot alone, so I think there's a good chance that the DC-ATX PSU can power it. Source: PowerColor AMD Radeon™ RX 6400 Low Profile 4GB GDDR6 - PowerColor

(and Revocasses said so as well, so 🙂)
