NVIDIA has announced the RTX A2000; a low-profile professional workstation GPU measuring in at only 2.7" in height and 6.6" in length. That would be 68.58mm height and 167.64mm for those on the Metric system.

The RTX A2000 comes with 3,328 CUDA cores and 6GB of GDDR6 on a 192-bit bus. Single-precision TFLOPS are listed as 8.0, RT performance at 15.6 TFLOPS, and Tensor performance at 63.9 TFLOPS. Power consumption is 70 watts, and it's cooled with a 2-slot blower style fan.

Additional features include four Mini DisplayPort 1.4A connections, AV1 decode support, and acceleration of AI based tools in programs such as Adobe Photoshop. As this is a professional workstation based GPU, no gaming performance was provided.

Here is a link to the RTX A2000 main page, and here is a link to the product information datasheet.

The problem is Bitcoin (and others ofcourse) have reached a new peak the last few days so people are once again hoarding cards.

@Goatee - how does it compare with your ASL 1650 "War Knife" in 3D Mark? Unfortunately I only ran Valley Bench when I had it.

edit: found your previous reddit post - 3300 vs 5700 GPU points in Time Spy - not bad for a 75W card

Yeah that’s what I was thinking, more than the 50% increase I was hoping for.

Looks like it scores pretty much on par with the 1660 super which is quite a big step up from the previous 75W card. Should be plenty for WQHD gaming with settings tuned down a bit.

Here's hoping Nvidia will release a comsumer version of it in the form of the RTX 3050!

EDIT: Also, from the screenshots it looks like he ran them at 2560x1440 .... don't know if it changes anything

Afaik this is the internal standard render resolution - unless you do a custom run with modified settings, 3D Mark will calculate a "normalized" score to make the results comparable.

Here is my 1650 score: as @REVOCCASES said my LP single slot GDDR5 (stock) examples scores 3300 on the graphics score.

A 1660 super scores around 6,000 stock

The A2000 example from Reddit scores around 5,700 stock

Like @GuilleAcoustic I'm interested in some in game beachies with DLSS on. That may well give some improvements that these sort of tests don't recognise.

I had one on pre order and cancelled, just not enough of a bump to warrrant that price tag.
A fun toy? sure, but not at the price.

My A2000 has been dispatched. Any suggestions on benchmarks to run on my 1650 vs the A2000 (DLSS on / off). Gears 5 and Tombraider are two I think might be good

Some gaming benchmarks popped up which seem to be on par with the 1660 super as well

My game of choice is cyberpunk at 1440P on medium settings. I load into a save just outside the house and sit for 10-15 seconds. I'm using a i5-9600k locked to 4 gigglehurtz due to the low profile cooler in my case.

For reference my 1650 LP GDDR5 gets around 20FPS on this screen, I messed up the screenshot so you will have to trust me :D

Here is the A2000 with no DLSS with Nvidia overlay for some stats. (38 FPS)

Then with DLSS on Auto (54 FPS)

Then with RT on and DLSS (36 FPS)

If you think I have some something wrong shout, but DLSS seems to give a big improvement to FPS...

Cyberpunk on medium settings in a 2L + brick case is pretty cool in my book.
