Hey whats up , new to the forum. stoked to be here and work on my new build! used to have a stormtrooper case... so this is a very welcomed improvement

my scope: i do a lot of Adobe suite (Ps, Ae, Pr) and want to get more into blender and C4D, and of course do some gaming sometimes.

appreciate any advice and all constructive critique! thanks in advance

plans:
- need to save to get a GPU (have an old one in it now as a temp) ideally a 2080ti or something close
- realized my 500gb OS NVMe isnt as fast as it could be, will replace that soon...
- plan to update the fans on the Kraken to something more quiet.
- will update the 2.5" SSDs just for working storage
- want to update the power button to something a little more slick

current setup:
NCASE M1 v6 case
AMD Ryzen 9 3950X 16-core, 32-Thread Processor
Asus ROG (X570) Crosshair VIII Impact, AMD, AM4, Ryzen 3000, (Mini-DTX) SFF
CORSAIR VENGEANCELPX64GB (2X 32GB) DDR4 3200(PC4-25600) C161.35V Desktop Memory -Black

WD Purple 8TB Surveillance Internal Hard Drive - 7200 RPM Class, SATA 6 GB/S, 256 MB Cache, 3.5" - WD82PURZ

I only just heard about this recently. How likely do you think it will be & when. I’m dying to know what the spec change will be.

Nvidia just postponed all announcements from GTC, which was when many people were expecting them to launch the first (enterprise/HPC/AI) versions of Ampere. Consumer versions typically launch later; last time around it was at Gamescom in August, with retail availability of the highest end SKUs a month later and lower end SKUs trickling out over the following months.
