I have a SilverStone ML06B case and I'm looking for the most powerful card I can fit. The opening is low profile, single slot. Available dimensions are 4.4" / 111.15 mm H (duh) x 6.25" / 160.00 mm L x 1" / 25 mm W.
I originally built with a GT 730, but these days I can't even get low end games to run 30 FPS. I have been searching for quite awhile and found the Gigabyte GT 1030 which fits quite well. It runs pretty well, but that 2 GB isn't great and I can't use Windows or GeForce in game recording with it. Not sure why they never made a 1030 with 4 GB, but if they did I would be happy.
Are there any cards above a GT 1030 that will fit in the slot? After a lot of searching, I've seen several posts on this board that are related, but some of the cards that I think might work I can't actually find for sale. A dual-slot card that can be converted to single slot with minor surgery is ok.
