One thing to keep in mind when buying a 'studio monitor' is to check its connectivity.
Studio monitors intended for HiFi reproduction are more likely designed to connect to an preamp/amp (vs connecting to a motherboard) and thus the bundled cables might need adapters/converters.

Ah yes, what tinyitx mentioned is true.

However, many of those I listed above are all active speakers, so majority should be able to connect via 3.5mm audio jack. As always, do check before you buy :)
