HI everyone! - Psycoturko - Modded MSI Trident A

Hi everbody, my name is "psycoturko" and i became obsessed by SFF builts since the corona-outbreak. As consequence of working from home, i thought to get an desktop pc as alternative for my Macbook pro 16 inch (2019).

I bought in may an MSI trident A and promised myself to not further invest. I broke my promise after 1 week and since then, i heavily modded my PC. Here some specs:

Stock specs MSI trident A:
- CPU: I5-9400F
- CPU cooler: Stock (delta)
- GPU: RTX 2060
- RAM: 2x8 GB 2666mhz
- Storage:
1) WD 254 gb SSD NVME
2) Hitachi 1 TB HDD
- 450 Watt FSP PSU

Current state (modded):
- CPU: I7-9700 (non-K)
- CPU cooler: NH-L12S (with 120mm fan)
- GPU: RTX 2060 (still the same)
- RAM: 2x16 GB 2666mhz CL13 HyperX
- Storage:
1) WD 254 gb SSD NVME
2) Hitachi 1 TB HDD
3) Samsung 1TB SSD 970 Evo Plus
4) MX500 1TB Crucial SSD

Additional 11 fans (mainly 40mm noctuas) for improving airflow.

See pictures below please!

To-do:

- Buying an Nvidia RTX 3080 when released.

Welcome to the forum ! I merged your two posts as they were posted only a minute from eachother. You sure like 40mm fans ! Did I count 10 ?
You are right! I have 10x 40mm fans, 1x 60mm noctua fan and one 120 mm cpu fan ;-) so in total 12 fans.

If i had the chance to add bigger fans to the case, i would definitely do that instead of using 40mm fans but unfortunately, the case is too narrow. And it seems even that i need to kick out the 60mm noctua when i have my new 3080 GPU (bcs the graphics card will be probably longer than mu current 2060).
