i7 8700+1080 mini+hd plex 400+dell 330w..

I finished sff system but i have some issues with power supply..When i start to play games (ex bf1) after 1-2m system is restarting...I tryed some tests in difrerent situation and i saw this :

if i limit CPU to 2 ghz (procesor state 65%) and run prime 95 & furmark does not restart again ..
if i run separate prime 95 & furmark with cpu at 100% (no limit to 2 ghz) everything is working fine, but when i start to stress both at the same time is restarting. .

There is issue with dell brick ?

Nvidia recommends 500W PSU for the 1080, probably due to spiking. I'm guessing that you may have a current draw that's overspec for the brick and/or the HDPlex, even throttling your CPU speed. I've never underclocked, and I'm not familiar with the finer points of underclocking a non-K CPU. I'm not sure if that guarantees a corresponding reduction in power draw.

The issue may be in Dell 330W PSU. It seems that it can not handle spikes very well.

I would strongly suggest getting HD-PLEX 300W AC-DC. It may seem that it can do 30W less, but it can peak to 380W for a few seconds. Plus it can much better sustain the power draw of your setup, by running at 300-350W range.

Hmmmm.

Seems like a bad HDplex 400

Your best bet is to find some PSU and test it with your system. If it works fine, call HD plex for replacement unit.
Easiest option is to borrow a PSU from someone for a few hours just to test tje system.
