Hi All,

So for the ryzen 5 2400G build I wanna do I planned on using the 160w internal AC-DC adapter with the HDplex 160w DC-ATX. But since it is purely the APU with a NVME PCI SSD and maybe 2 SATA SSD's the power consumption wouldn't be so high .I read that the max power consuption of the 2400G was 112w under max load.

So I thought maybe the HDplex 80w internal AC-DC would work aswell, but together with the 160w DC-ATX could they handle lets say about a 120w?

Cheers

If you plan on your system load being 120W I would recommend going for the 160W AC-DC.

That's not how this works. It's AC -> DC -> ATX rails, so you see you are limited to the lowest wattage of either the AC-DC unit or the DC-ATX unit. You don't add them up.

You could merge two 80W units instead of using a 160W unit if it suits your case layout better.
