I logged in just to like this. Happy Friday morning! Thank you.

(I have been thinking about a build using the 160w version, 200w would be a welcome upgrade)

My thoughts exactly. I'm a huge fan of the HHHL GPUs and this is just what is needed to run almost any setup with a LP 1050ti.

Larry, if you're lurking out there, I just want to thank you VERY MUCH for your time, effort and passion for SFF hardware. Cheers, my friend!

Combine this with the ATX bracket and a lot of older ITX cases become viable. I'm thinking of the Lian Li PC-Q7B in particular.

Think about this for a while: ultra small cases, dual layering mobo and GPU with built-in AC-DC adapter... it just blown my mind!

Not to be silly, but I haven't been able to definitively find a result on this term. HHHL = Half Height, Half Length (ITX-length?)?

With a low power chip, I'm almost certain it's possible.

I've seen a few people power 1060's with the 160w version. With another 40w to spare, it'll be easy peasy!

Awesome! I have a HDPlex 400w AC/DC and have been waiting for the Dynamo 360 to come out, but I might just go for this in the meantime

Anyone think you could power a 1060 out of this?

A 1060 + 65W CPU should be doable on this unit. Unlike the previous Dynamo Mini/160W DC-ATX this unit is rated for continuous draw of 200W and can handle momentary spikes in excess of that.

I've spent sometime putting together a possible Flex M-ATX productivity build with the HDPLEX 200W DC-ATX (PC Part Picker list). I got it to 191W. Some of the parts are overkill for certain uses (Not everyone needs 64gb, but I do), but it should give an overview of what could be done.

CPU: Intel - Core i7-8700 3.2 GHz 6-Core Processor (8W - 65W)
CPU Cooler: Noctua - NH-L9x65 33.84 CFM CPU Cooler (5W - 10W)
Motherboard: Gigabyte - Z370M DS3H Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Memory: Corsair - Vengeance LPX 64 GB (4 x 16 GB) DDR4-2666 Memory (46W)
Storage: Samsung - 860 Evo 250 GB mSATA Solid State Drive (2W - 10W)
MSATA Adapter: StarTech SAT32MSATPEX Sata to mSata adapter PCIE bracket
Storage: Samsung - 970 Evo 2 TB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive (2W - 10W)
Video Card: PNY - Quadro P400 2 GB Video Card (7W - 30W)
Case: Dower Me GPU-Q3
PSU: HDPLEX 200W DC-ATX
External Brick: Dell 240W PA-9E
Wireless Network Adapter: Asus - PCE-AC88 PCI-Express x1 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi Adapter
Case Fan: Noctua - NF-A8 PWM 32.66 CFM 80mm Fan x4 (1W - 5W) x4
Fan Hub: Silverstone CPF04

Oh that's a lot bigger than the Meanwell .I think it would fit if you removed the power button from the front of the case. Or it would fit in the PCIe slot side if you didn't use a graphics card.

Which Meanwell model are you comparing with? Been on the look out for hdplex 200'-400w but it would be easier and cheaper to buy from Meanwell.

Could also do the 24v meanwell if you're mixing it with the new 200w hdplex plugin
