Hi Guys,

So yesterday I build my Skyreach S4 mini with the Gigabyte GTX 1080 from the AORUS GTX 1080 Gaming Box.
Now I notice that the fan is making a little rattling noise, It doesn't touch anything since it doesn't have any covering.

Anyone knows what it might be?

Image as reference :)

Brycek the image is not working here. ( I recommend imgur )

how firm is the fan? could you test with the pc off to see if it wiggles?

Hmm.. the images dont work either but it could be coil whine? I'm not sure
I have no experience of it though, just read and looked at some videos about it.
someone more experienced might help you

edit: dos it sound something like this?

Looking at the pic in the 1st post, I see a black cable (most likely be the power cable for the fan) near the lower part of the card (near the gold fingers). Could it be the fan blades are touching this cable?

If you remove the 'cover' of the case, does the noise change in any way?
Also, you might check if there is any change in the noise when the fan is run at different speed (using a different fan curve to achieve that).

It doesn't touch the cable, it has about more then enough space between it. When checking the rest of the web, a lot of people suggest to lub or grease the fan.

Also I noticed that only 1 of the 3 displayports work correctly, the others give me flickering lines.

What do you guys think? Lub / grease the fan or just RMA it?
