Good morning from Sydney

Hello everyone

Middle-aged nerd here from down under. Glad to have found this community.

This whole thing started when I started looking for an Intel NUC to buy as a basic workstation - and started thinking....and here we are planning my
first mini-ITX build. Currently gathering info and trying to finalise a component list....for the past 3 weeks...!

Have built a few PCs in the past and fairly adept with hardware/software but never anything SFF before.

Looking forward to getting some insight from more experienced builders here so excuse all the questions as there will be many.
If anyone has any starting tips or can point me to a guide of sorts would be appreciated.

There are many points of entry into the world of SFF.
One common point is the case itself, which arguably could be the soul of the rig.
Maybe you first pick your case and then start from there. Other hardwares will then follow suit.

I think I'm set on the case: iQunix ZX-1.
Ryzen based system with a workstation (basic GPU) as the use will be work, internet/email/youtube/streaming 4k.
I'll post my proposed build soon to check with more experienced builders about compatibility.
