EPYC in a Threadripper board?

Randomly saw this in my youtube feed. Looks like der8aurer is making some progress on getting EPYC to run on a Threadripper board. He managed to get it to boot by blocking an ID pin but not post and is going to try some ECC soon to see if he can get it to post.

At that point you'll need to keep feeding it complex regression models and pixar movies to render every day or it will turn on you Little Shop of Horrors style
