Ok, I managed to get a few minutes to spare and decided to have a go at a more aesthetic redesign of the front panel.

Personally i prefer the plane front, its understated and simple, the 2nd two look busy / noisy / cluttered. OTOH im not building it so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
