Hello guys, awenchow here. I’m a node202 owner. I built the PC in late 2018 which was not a good time to do it. I was looking for a case that is small, full spec hardware accessibility, and with good ventilation ability. Most importantly, I want the PC to be portable. The initial PC spec is
- i7-8700
- ASUS H370-I
- Corsair Vengence LPX DDR4-2666, 16G
- Samsung NVMe 970evo plus, 250G; 860evo 500G SATA
- Zotec GTX1080-mini
- Corsair SF450
- Noctua NH-L9i and one extra 120mm slim fan
Later on I switch the CPU to i5-9600KF, because I somehow fry the i7-8700 for some reason. But I got the refund from intel and I brought the 9600KF. I know i don’t have a Z mobo, but I do it anyway. Just in case of any future mobo upgrades and it perform better than the 9400F. CPU cooling of node202 is a big problem, and I believe the 8700 die because of it. So, I install a 90mm x90mm x25mm Noctua fan to replace the original slim fan. It does help a little. I also brought another Samsung 1tb ssd for more storage.
I saw the Optiumtech post a video about the FormD T1 case, and I was attract to the overall function of the case. Hats off to the Wahaha360. The design and the comparability are excellent. Therefore, I had an idea of switching to the T1 case permanently and any future hardware upgrade will be base on it.
