Can't wait for a teardown on this bad boy!! I mostly want to see the cooling setup - Corsair made some fun stuff before, for previous SFF cases.

I'm wondering if it will have a PCIe slot on the board or if it's purely going to rely on the integrated graphics, which are admittedly very good.

PCIe slot with DisplayPort passthrough would be excellent.

Regarding cooling. The side mesh makes me think that the cooling concept will be looking a lot like for the HP Z2 G1a. However, there appears to be some cooling system also on the other side, which one can not really see well on the published images. So I am curious too how that thing will look like on the inside.

Indeed. That's why the design looked so familiar.
So the cooling design is very similar to the EVO-X2, other than it featuring an integrated (Flex-ATX?) PSU.

The photos on Videocardz even have a [BRAND] area allocated at the front so this definitely looks like the OEM of the Corsair.

No Occulink - no competition.

Occulink makes only limited sense for a Strix Halo system.
The whole point of Strix Halo is its iGPU. If you don't use it, you are just burning money.

In case you want to upgrade the GPU years down the line to extend the life of the system, there are 2 M.2 slots. Just get an occulink adapter.

It's kind of big …? Custom heatsink, custom PCB, no need for a dGPU thanks to the expensive SoC, and then just the size of a Velka 3?

First, a 300+W power supply for such a system is just a waste of money ! Out of the box, even with the maximum amount of memory and 2 M.2 SSDs, it would likely never draw more than 100 W ! You will never be able tofit a graphics card in that housing.

For those who think the onboard graphics are not adequate, why aren't more SFF systems being shipped with OCulink ?

For those who think the onboard graphics are not adequate, why aren't more SFF systems being shipped with OCulink ?

A couple things:

• Strix Halo, can boost to 120+W itself (possibly more depending on the UEFI and cooler solution) without extra NVME or devices to power and the SOC itself will easily to 100W sustained even at stock. The 395 has as much compute for CPU as a 7950X at all of 55W for the CPU, which is 1/3 the power.
• Second, They overspec the power supply so it doesn't need to run as high on the load curve and therefore as loud. FlexATX power supplies pretty universally suck in the noise department. Corsair's version of this system looks like the SOC gets 2x 80mm fans maybe(?)--so under load it won't be silent anyway.

OcuLink would be nice...but remember the SOC on 395 series Strix Halo is roughly equivalent to an RTX5060 with silly amounts of VRAM. As integrated graphics goes--Strix Halo is comparable to dGPUs rather than the iGPUs most people know. It is an amazing architecture.

My Framework Desktop (same SOC and spec), people complain about the 400W PSU making noise, which, yea. Maybe they got lemons--and some people are Princess and the Pea when it comes to noise. It is a sweet little SFF system.
