Discussion Cooling concerns AM5?

I will likely jump into the 13400, but I'm not in a rush, so I am waiting to see what follow on CPUs AMD drops.

Intitial (and probably all) 13600 and below SKU's are rebranded ADL parts. It's only the SKU's with E cores that are RPL dies.

Thank you for the info. Would really like to see benchmarks and load temps of the 7600X in eco mode, hopefully someone will release a video of that.

I use a 4.9L case with a 37mm cooler height limit, so I am also most interested in the 65W class of CPUs. Right now I will likely jump into the 13400, but I'm not in a rush, so I am waiting to see what follow on CPUs AMD drops.

Yeah, I'm aware of that, but the 13400 isn't a direct copy of the 12400. The 13400 will have E cores and a slightly higher turbo clock.

Thank you. I'm sub'd to them, guess I overlooked that video somehow. Based on how little performance the 7600X loses at 65W I wonder why AMD didn't just go with that TDP like previous generations.
