New season, new build :) Moving away from my 2700X build as this will be dedicate to gaming, will have a new NAS build for video encoding.

Reused case and some watercooling parts from the AMD build, if you want details on rads and custom glass panel, please check the thread linked above.

Parts
Intel i9 9900K
ASRock Z390 Taichi
2x 16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4-3466
Vengeance RGB Pro Light Enhancement Kit
NVIDIA 2080 TI FE
Corsair SF750 Platinum
Samsung 970 EVO 1TB NVME
Samsung 970 EVO 2TB NVME
Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB NVME

Watercooling Parts
Bitspower ASRock Z390 Taichi RGB Monoblock
Alphacool GPX-N 2080 TI M02 (with integrated LT Ceramic Pump)
Alphacool 240x25mm Radiator
Alhpacool 240x30mm Radiator
Alphacool Eisstation DC-Ultra Reservoir with DC-LT 2600 Ultra pump
Alphacool and EKWB G1/4 fittings for 10/13mm soft tubing with
Alphacool HF tubing (don't have UV lights but like the frosted effect)
Alphacool flow indicator
4x EK-Vardar EVO 120ER RGB
EK-CryoFuel Navy Blue Premix

The Build
Installing the moboblock and preparing the motherboard

Installing the radiators and set up for pump combo fittings runs

Pump combo barely fits, tubing run between rads done

GPU fittings runs done

Pump combo to monoblock intake run done as well, ready to fill up the loop and test for leaks

No leaks, but a lot of air to bleed, if you didn't get yet, this build is really tight in there!

Looking good after couple of days of running the pumps at 100%

Glass panel on (not a great photographer, looks much better in person...)

Time to test temps: fans fixed at 50%, pumps at 60%, CPU 5GHz all cores no AVX offset, cache 4.7GHz, vcore 1.28, LLC2, mem 3466MHz, GPU 123% power limit, +150 MHz core

CPU temps after 1h of RealBench

Temps 30 mins into Superposition 4K High quality stress test

I am blown away by how much better the thermals are compared to my AMD system!

Pretty nice setup..:D

Why haven't you go to X570 MB with that many NVME SSD?
On Z390 every SSD are connected through DMI to CPU, which is a bottleneck on this specific case.

Because it's for gaming and 3950X are nowhere to be found and/or overpriced. I had the 9900K in storage and got a great deal on the motherboard.

The 2700X I had before is going in a crazy NAS build i have in mind....

Just a bit scared of power usage of 2700X as NAS..:D

Yes, definitely not a factor as I am going to have it re-encoding my 24 TB of video content in x265, would use that power anyway.

once again makes completely sense...it's a workstation, rather than a NAS..:D
