Hello everybody,

need help here. I'd like to make a small, budget and portable APU with a 5600G in a Goodisory A01 case for light gaming.

Could you help me choosing the parts giving the fact that I'm based in Italy (and so, Europe)? I already have a spare SSD.

If you could link me staff on Amazon.it it could be fantastic.

Thank you!

First off, for a simple 5600G build I would recommend the DeskMini X300.
This is a barebone that includes a motherboard and power supply. It also has USB-C on the front, which is nice for the price.

If you want to use that case you will need:
- A motherboard (the Asrock B550M is good enough for that APU).
- For the 5600G the stock cooler is fine.
- A M.2 SSD, like this one. I don't know the amount of storage you need.
- DDR4 ram, either 16GB or 32GB. For light gaming 16GB like this is more than enough.
- A PicoPSU power supply. That CPU has a TDP of 65 watt, but has a max power draw of 82 watts. Source. A PicoPSU like this one is plenty. A PicoPSU also requires a 12V power brick that equals or exceeds the wattage of the PSU itself. Something like this will work.

Hope that helps.

I cannot thank you enough for all your informations and help.
Thank you!

Can I ask you another question? If I wanted to put a 5700G, what would it be its max power? Would those PSU sufficient?

Power draw of the 5700G will be almost the same, maybe a few watts higher. The PSU would be sufficient. I would however not recommend the 5700G. You pay way more for a very small amount of extra performance.
