SFF.Network Apeer2 Shows Off Monitor Stand ITX Case at Computex 2026

Although it measures well above the SFF size limit, this 28.3 litre chassis from ‘Apeer2’ integrates a VESA monitor mount, so we’ll give it the benefit of the doubt. Covered by TechPowerup (again, we’re super appreciative of other media outlets covering the SFF stuff, since SFF Network couldn’t be at Computex this year), this uniquely designed case offers adjustable height, tilt and rotation capability in the monitor mount.
Featuring support for a GPU up to 370mm long, and either a 240 or 280 mm radiator, the case can support a decently powerful system. SFX and SFX-L power supplies can fit, as well as CPU air coolers up to 95mm tall.
The mostly aluminium chassis weighs in at 8.27 kg. As mentioned above, the case measures in at 28.3 litres, or to put it another way, 266 × 222 × 478 mm. The side panels are held on magnetically, with a power passthrough to a side...

I like the concept and I hope there will be many more designs. Like a more traditional monitor foot, built-in decent speakers, a hidden horizontal design, etc.

It’s certainly interesting. I like the way it looks but I’m not sold on the split cabling layout. Might need to see it in action. I also wonder how stable a monitor bass or will be. Seems like it needs a flared base for stability.

So either there is a SFF inside joke I don't get due to not being on the forums near as much as I was in the past, or the reference is to a flared base to prevent over-insertion of an object into a certain body opening...? I will emphasize this is something I have heard of but have absolutely zero personal knowledge with...! ;^p

But even at 28L+, it still appears to not have the 70mm of clearance needed between the CPU IHS and the 280 AIO to fit a Noctua AIO in there, and even if it did, for some reason Noctua does not make a 280 variant...

And for almost seven hundred doll hairs, I could get the NZXT H2 Flow chassis, the Kraken Elite 280 AIO, and the C850 SFX PSU, and then use the remaining portion of doll hairs for Noctua fans in the H2 Flow...

But as of late, I have been eyeing the forthcoming C4-SFXv2 as a chassis I could move my Crosshair VIII Impact build into, and also eyeing the A4-H2O as a chassis for a future AM6 based build...!

Now if someone would design a 3D printable replacement low-profile cap for the pump on a Noctua 240 AIO so it could fit into the A4-H2O chassis...

its a joke based on the EMTguy / Emergency Room "appearances", or what persons somehow manage to get stuck in their lower body orifices.

"how did you get THIS thing stuck IN THERE?" - "Oh, I was just exchanging the light bulb while I was in the nudes, then fell with my bottom first, and somehow, landed onto it"

The suggestion from several medical professionals is: Whatever lands in there, it should at least have a flared base for easy removal.

IDK, is the Noctua AIO monstrosity the new standard for SFF / MFF cases nowadays? I'd get any other 280 in there BUT the Noctua one. But if your focus is "noise over performance", then this might be the wrong approach anyway.

A vertical screw rod mounted on the 'front' surface would do a much better job making the monitor adjustable, and a wrap-around base would make for easy tilt adjustment of the monitor - Tilt the whole case backwards to tilt the monitor back a few degrees, and it would have a positive affect on CoG.

Aside from that, it doesn't look terribly stable. But does look pretty neat... but holy cow that price.
