GPU Any new consumer GPU's in 2018?

Hopefully Nvidia rolls out a ton of cards in the first wave but yeah.. Could be a real shite show.

I’m thinking cards at or near msrp ish in wave one too. Then they immediately sell out followed by wave 2 and beyond gouging. Hopefully not but We shall see.

Think about it this way...when cryptocurrencies start to plummet after the hype wears off (banks may come out with their own, prompting a crypto crash, as well), a lot of miners will be stuck with cards and try to sell them off. This will cause used GPU prices to crash to only a small fraction of what they were new.

That is the hope but most of the miners I talk with are getting more cards as the crypto prices plummet to get In on the next upswing. Also the difficulty increases etc. When asked about bank regulations and the like the answer seems to be “we will just mine other coins.” Personally I wouldn’t be bothered if it all fell apart tomorrow and the promise of regular pricing on GPUs delivered. Interesting times for sure.
