AMD has released a new AGESA build called AGESA V2 PI 1.2.0.7 to motherboard manufactures and OEMS. This is an important update as it addresses the stuttering issue that some AMD systems systems were having due to the TPM2.0 function. However, this is not the biggest news of this release.

With this new AGESA release, AMD has added official Zen 3 (Ryzen 5000 series) support to AMD 300 series chipsets. This is will allow for some pretty powerful upgrades such as going from a Ryzen 1600 CPU all the way to whatever Ryzen 5000 series your board's VRM can handle.

Personally, I took advantage of this but with the AMD 400 series chipsets. I moved from a Ryzen 2600 to a Ryzen 5600, and saw a substantial improvement in performance; even when paired with a more modest Radeon RX 5700XT.
