Hello all,

I didn't know where to put this thread. And I don't think its an off-topic.
I am a new member, and I am so hyped to make my own custom case. I have the idea and the design in mind but I really how and where to begin. I have already read the generous tips here and there around the forum. But I got confused about which software to use. I know Blender, so some 3D modelling but it doesn't accept the CAD formats that are provided in the resources templates. So please, if you have some kind of advice for a newbie or easy and accurate software (free or affordable) help me out. I spent hours trying to use FreeCAD but the off-centred fixed origin pissed me off.

And Thanks,

Fusion 360 is free for private use and its easy to learn for me. I use it to print parts with the 3d printer.

Thank you very much, I thought it is a subscription only software. It looks better than FreeCAD.
