Powercolor has just added the new 2-slot Reaper SKU RX 9070 XT to their website, although at the time I'm posting this there's a lot of info missing (like the actual dimensions). However, based on the images this looks like a great option for smaller ITX builds that can't fit more than a 2-slot card. I'm going to guess it's about 110mm x 290mm.

It's also powered by 2x 8-pin PCI-E connectors.

Here's some CES Coverage from Paul's Hardware that shows off the new Reaper design:

The pricing and reviews for the RX 9070 XT are still a couple of months away, but this is one of the cards I'm most excited about as a possible replacement for my EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 XC3 (Which is a 2.2 slot).

Glad to see an AMD card that is really 2 slot. I really wanted to buy a 7900 XT when they launched but I was still using a Ghost and there was nothing available. Ended up going with an Inno3d 4070 Ti and I'm very happy with it but I would have liked to have the option.

This is good, it seemed that all AIB RX 9070 cards are 3-slot oversized behemoths. Hopefully the AIB manufacturers take a page from the 5090FE heatsink design that can actually dissipate close to 600W without resorting to watercooling.

wow, you where spot on with this guess. its 289x111mm. https://www.powercolor.com/product-detail212.htm#list-item-4

I'm considering this card or trying to get the sapphire pulse 9070 cooler to fit on the sapphire pulse 9070 xt. if you look at the renderings the contact area and mounting looks to be identical between the two cards so I think the coolers should be interchangeable, maybe. that card is a bit bigger at 2.5 slot, 280x120mm

I got the XT Reaper yesterday. It'll be going in the T1, as soon as I get my replacement z790 board.

RMAs really drag out when you have a new build in mind.
Can you fit check it in 2 slot mode? Might get one tomorrow and want to make sure it fits before that.

I've been putting off ordering one of these in the hopes that the price would drop, but I saw the RX 9070 XT on Amazon this morning for $799 and decided to get it.

With uncertainty regarding the tariff situation after 9 July and a reply from Powercolor to say they had no distributors in South Africa (where I live) I'd rather not wait and risk a big increase in the price, although with current import duties, taxes, and shipping I'm paying around $950, and I can get a more premium Sapphire NITRO+ locally for that price. Unfortunately, that won't fit in my Ncase M1 or Ghost S1, and I don't want to change to a bigger case. Such is the cost of SFF Life!

Disappointment! After almost a month of waiting, my Powercolor Reaper still hadn't shipped from Amazon, and I eventually cancelled it to get a GeForce RTX 5070Ti on Prime Day (which I then cancelled, as I found the model on offer didn't have great cooling).

I just saw a video from Hardware Unboxed that may explain why I never got the card. Looks like Powercolor has stopped manufacturing the Reaper to focus on the higher margin, and much less SFF-friendly models ☹️

That's sad to hear 🙁 Very disappointing as they could just have steered into that SFF niche and demanded more margin.

That's a real shame - I love my Reaper.

As I posted in the comments section in that vid, a simple undervolt brought the power draw down from 304 to 242W with no performance loss. Makes a huge difference to the temps though.

I was hoping to do the same.

How many mV is your undervolt?

I'm cautiously optimistic that I may actually get a Reaper after all.

I've ordered one from a 3rd party seller on Amazon UK:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0DSWJJRQX

I also see it's back in stock on Amazon US, directly from Amazon.

https://www.amazon.com/PowerColor-Hellhound-Radeon-9070-GDDR6/dp/B0DSWJJRQX

Although the price seems better on Amazon US, it's cheaper for me from the UK as they remove the VAT before adding shipping and customs duties (which are considerably less too).

I also picked up a mini 4-pin to standard PWM fan connector cable as I may replace the fans with 92mm Noctuas if the stock ones end up being too noisy.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B005ZKZEQA

Fingered crossed this one actually ships...

Just something to be mindful of: Sourcing items in the US via Amazon UK typically means Amazon UK will not honour a full year warranty and you will have to RMA through the manufacturer after 30 days. I got bitten by that one.

I'm shipping to South Africa, so warranty is going to be a PITA in any case, and I'm hoping I won't need to RMA the card for anything.

Unfortunately, PowerColor no longer has a local distributor here (I emailed them to ask), and all the locally available options would require me to buy a bigger case. The XFX Cards for example, are huge. The Reaper is slightly slimmer than the EVGA RTX 3080 it replaces and uses the same 2x 8-pin power connectors, so it's a very easy upgrade.
