    Prototype Introducing the Chimera CX2

Will there be an option to lay the case down on its side? I assume all I would have to do is attach feet to a different panel, but I'm just curious if this has been thought of at all.

Any chance you'll consider doing another run of the L5X?

I see. So, the tab at the top of the bracket for securing the card with a second screw changes orientation? That seems like an odd choice on the part of add-in card manufacturers. I'd assume about 5 min with my dremel tool would sort that out though (just trim the bracket. Don't need more than a...

Sorry I'm sure this is annoying but I'm having difficulty seeing what you mean here. Looking at your picture I can see that all of the I/O for the card appears to line up with the slotted openings you have setup at the back of the case for PCI-E expansion. What part of this is going "the wrong way"?

Well I completely missed that L5X run. Damn.

Yeah I actually just went backwards in the thread and got to have a look at fabio's build. Pretty awesome... I also noticed that space may be even a little tighter than I assumed it would be for that 24pin. Hopefully that HD Plex 200 unit is skinny enough to fit. I'm having horrible visions of...

You can, but I don't expect to have the room for it. I'm planning on using up the expansion slot area with a GTX 1650 whenever Zotac gets around to releasing the LP version. I don't think I'd have enough clearance on the other side of the case for an ATX 24pin connection plus the power brick.

I'm actually still pretty partial to the original gray/silver color with the black front. I'm gonna track down red vandal switch for it. Reminds me of the old IBM XT clones, just modernized a bit zapped with a shrink ray. lol. Finally looking at using this box for a build soon. The idea of...

While I appreciate that you'd be willing to do that, I have no intention of returning the case. I'm still happy with it. Just pointing out that I do like the alternative front option, but its by no means a make or break feature. I just happen to think it looks cool.

Just posting to say I did get mine. I bought one of the warped units. I don't feel like the warp around the CPU vent is extreme, or even noticeable really unless you go looking for it. You can experience the slightest bit of flex in that area when taking the case apart and putting it back...

That fan grill cutout option isn't a horrible idea. I actually modded a silverstone case for a 140mm grill and mounted it myself from the back side. I'd take a pic but I don't currently have it in front of me. At any rate it came out looking pretty nice. ::EDIT:: Also, I just placed an order...

Production J-HACK PURE X - 4.3L LP GPU chassis with FLEX support

I do agree with this. My personal feeling is that the flexible options for power support plus the taller CPU cooler height in a case that is still as compact as this is will be what ultimately makes it an attractive option for more powerful mini-itx builds. That said I can work with the...

I assume you mean this PSU? https://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=784&area=en Yeah I'm a fan of this idea for sure. I like the concept that everything you'd expect to be in a full sized PC is here, its just in its most downsized form. Keeping some space set aside for the PSU to stay in...
