I've got this external PSU + its board that I want to find a case for. If I cannot find a case that I can mount that board into I can always try modding, but if possible I'd like something designed to take this sort of thing.

I actually gave up on the concept for now. The laptop board I wanted to use I don't think you can get to the bios iirc unless you have the screen that goes to it.

I have a laptop motherboard that's fully functional (want to say 22nm Intel), but the laptop it came with is long gone. Are there cases or custom case ideas for a way to properly mount or enclose it and all the hardware necessary for it to be run as a desktop PC?

Wow that case looks awesome. 265 dollars though? Damn. That's more than double what I spent on my new desk. That's like my budget for upgrading to a 6 core CPU. If I can spend less than an eighth of that (33 dollars) on my case then I will deem it a success.

Flex ATX, TFX, SFX, ATX?, Or maybe even that Nano-ATX thing HDPLEX makes with the 200W internal brick? Not sure what else I'm missing. Maybe some other proprietary solutions? What is your favorite and possibly tell what you think some of the pros and cons are of these different form factors.

My concern would be loose IO wires getting hit by the CPU/GPU fans. Could probably throw a fan grill on the CPU fan. And use wireless peripherals I guess.
