So this is just a bigger version of the Dan case? From the pictures it looks like this only supports one two slot card (e.g. a GPU) or two single slot cards. It's not possible to have a single slot card and a dual slot GPU card at the same time?
Edit: nevermind. I just realized this only...
Thanks for the reply. I actually did turn the cooler to the position recommended by Josh. I also selected auto OCing on the 2500K and it seems the temps are now around 45C while clocked at 4,3Ghz. So I think it's ok now.
I finally bought a Skyreach mini from a local user and transplanted my gear into it. I am using the following hardware:
- Sandy Bridge i5 2500K at stock speeds (see screenshots below for more info)
- Noctua NH-l9i with GC2 thermal paste
- Asus P8Z77-I
- Club 3D Radeon 7850 1GB
- HDplex 400W
Good to know. :) . Just to be clear, you cut out the vents from the reverse side of the wrap? This seems the easiest way to me as well, only thing I'm a bit worried about is scratching the case when cutting out the vents.
Thanks for the replies. I want to do a vinyl wrap with custom art on it, so I'll need to know the size of the piece at least before ordering from a vinyl shop. I guess I'll just measure the dimensions when I get my case.
Did you cut out the vent holes yourself? Was it tricky cutting them out...
Yeah, I found the model of Skyreach, but I don't really know how to use Sketchup. Will have to figure out how I can measure the lenght of the top/bottom parts (with the bend).
I only saw the sketchup file, I assume you mean that one.
@Josh | NFC Do you maybe have a WRAP template file for the Skyreach mini (like the on in resources section for the classic)? I'm thinking of doing a wrap and a template file would help with the dimensions.
