Any news on the Asus Impact x570 dtx board? I've been curious if the Noctua C14 will block the m.2 riser card. edit: nevermind, comparing image of the dtx board with where the C14 sits in my own case, it is pretty clear that the C14 will bump into the m.2 riser card.

I wanted to retain my 25mm noctua pressure fans, not even including the 2mm or so rubber gasket between case and fan. Sounds like I may not be able to... dang.

Could you please post a photo of the fitment? Might help me determine if I can fit it in with its fans removed and my noctuas retained.

I'd like to know as well. Personally I would want to remove their fan shroud and just rely on the dual noctuas I have below the card currently (using an Arctic Accelero III right now).

Thank you so much for the reply! Well back to plan A then! Unless I come across a steal of a deal, I'll wait it out. Hopefully turbulence can be curbed somewhat with a quality notcua fan running at low RPM. Time will tell! Just to confirm, the 135mm of clearance will be the case with a ryzen...

I am still casually browsing for one at a decent price, but thanks to the prototype C-style cooler revealed by Noctua I'm willing to wait. The prototype will be just enough shorter to fit a full sized fan it sounds like.

I hate the shroud too, but with my Arctic Accelero III 1080ti I ended up having to remove it anyway! One of the screws on the corner of the X bracket was just barely hitting that shroud, so the GPU was a few mm from being seated properly (it did still boot). Figured it was the perfect excuse...
